Malarthi's Token
On the 20th of Phamenoth, Krumku (Macrocosm) -- now anointed Corky -- killed the Apep Avatar. Soon after, Euplicitous Aerophram (N: The Riven) failed to doom him four times. Mikolaj (The Riven) then Devastated Krumku to death. Krumku was then Absolved by Euplicitous Aerophram and resurrected by Mikolaj via Phoenix Fire.
Euplicitous Aerophram made the statement: "As a token of appreciation for Malarthi's turning of a new leaf, the Riven have defended his honor. Krumku should not have smacked Malarthi's bitch up. Word." [1]

Rough Tumble for smooth-mamma
On the 20th of Phamenoth, smooth-mamma was expelled from The Riven dominion. Following the expulsion, smooth-mamma was Dueled by Mikolaj (The Riven) who then Ruined her three times. Euplicitous Aerophram (N: The Riven) then subjected smooth-mamma to the Judgment of Ra. No posts were made to explain the attacks, but soon after Euplicitous Aerophram announced under the title of Smooth-Mamma: "Is no longer worthy of being Riven." [1]
This situation parallels pakhet's expulsion from The Riven and Judgment on the 11th of Mecheir, which also culminated in an announcement with her name as the title: Is no longer worthy of being Riven. [2]

Like a Rock?
On the 21st of Phamenoth, pakhet (Monolith) converted from the path of Amin-Ra to the path of Sekhmet to create the Monolith dominion. She then invited former member of eidolon Dijital (N: Monolith) and former member of Nekhen BadKalamari (Monolith). Following the creation of the dominion, pakhet appointed Dijital as the new Nomarch.
The only mention of the genesis of this dominion was made by Dijital: "The heralds tell all." [1]

Kauket Killed, Again
On the 22th of Phamenoth, Snigu Ka Tet (Shadows) slew Kauket at 23:44. Mikolaj (The Riven) Doomed and Devastated him to death, then Exhausted 700 of his Anima.
Snigu Ka Tet apologized, writing: "I understand what may happen." [1] Kalshinra (Nekhen) responded to Snigua Ka Tet's apology with a joke: "I am sorry, but now you must die. Prepare yourself." [2] Maa-kheru (Antirhodos) responded to Kalshinra with: "You might have been kidding but Mikolaj wasn't. He cast doom and devastated Snig for 93 vitality and then hit him for 700 anima. This for 5 seconds less time we could use Kauket? IMO this is going too far. ONE minute early is seldom a whole minute and I think that is very excessive and gives me a very poor opinion of Mikolaj and Riven if they condone this over kill." [3]
Maa-kheru's statement sparked another discussion on the early slaying of Kauket within Snigu Ka Tet's thread.

smooth_pappa's Rocky Road
On the 23rd of Phamenoth, smooth_pappa (eidolon) was subjected to the Judgment of Ra by Euplicitous Aerophram (N: The Riven), fifty minutes after converting to the Divine Path of Atum-Ra. Either of the Divine Paths require a disciple to be Celestial (Level 81) before converting.
Prior to the Judgment, Euplicitous Aerophram posted: "Smooth_Pappa requested that I judge him. Carry on." [1] smooth_pappa responded after the Judgment: "for the record: I absolutely did not asked to be judged. Any text that EA posts to the contrary is fabricated by him. He might say that I was trying to set him up, and/or that I am lying. that is absolutely false. I was attacked outright. I trust that anyone here knows me better than to try and set up a war." [2]
Euplicitous Aerophram replied: "Is this what you’ve been reduced to? You can’t defeat us in debate or game play so you resort to lies and personal attacks? Obviously Anupet didn’t sabotage the eidolon QBD, but then you know that already. You have proof, but you’re not interested in that. This is all about you hurting Anupet for leaving Eidolon and Freya hurting the Riven for punishing her. Now there’s this judgment thing? Even Pakhet carried herself with more dignity. I have nothing but contempt for you now." [3]
Baltar (Shadows) joined the discussion with: "Considering that smooth_pappa had only just converted to the Path of Atum-Ra -- at a cost of millions of Favour -- I can conceive of absolutely no reason for him to request Judgment less than an hour later. If this is a set-up, it is one for which I would not have expected you to fall." [4] To which Euplicitous Aerophram responded: I typically answer judgment requests with an application of the ability rather than a confirmation telepath*. So, I suppose I was asking for this. Suffice it to say, no good deed goes unpunished. The circumstances certainly lend him credibility. That’s the brilliance of it, I suppose. Now they can parallel this to Giorgioh’s attack on you. *: I have requested confirmation once or twice, but then only when I failed to see the request until a day or so after it was made." [5]
Two and a half hours after the Judgment, Malarthi (eidolon) converted to the Path of Ahmose via Metasis Charm and inflicted Euplicitous Aerophram and Mikolaj (The Riven) with Paradoxes while smooth_pappa and smooth-mamma provided Anima support.
Anupet (The Riven) used a Cathartic Philter on Mikolaj. Mikolaj then Ruined Malarthi, Exhausted 50 of his anima and Devastated him to death and Ruined smooth_pappa and Devastated him to death. smooth-mamma used a Cathartic Philter on smooth_pappa and Mikolaj used a Cathartic Philter on Euplicitous Aerophram.
Euplicitous Aerophram and Mikolaj then Doomed and Devastated smooth-mamma to death. smooth_pappa used a Cathartic Philter on both smooth-mamma and Malarthi before being Doomed to death by Euplicitous Aerophram. Krumku (Macrocosm) wasted a Cathartic Philter on smooth-mamma and resurrected her with a Phoenix Fire.
Mikolaj then Exhausted 300 of Malarthi's Anima and Ruined and Doomed Krumku, killing him. Euplicitous Aerophram Doomed smooth-mamma to death. Anupet Soulrifted Malarthi, smooth-mamma, and smooth_pappa. RandomEmoticon (Shadows) then used a Cathartic Philter on smooth-mamma and Anupet Sapped 345 of Malarthi's Anima. Euplicitous Aerophram Doomed smooth-mamma to death again, following with an attempted Doom on RandomEmoticon which was deflected by Txaran. Euplicitous Aerophram Decimated RandomEmoticon 5 times while Mikolaj Devastated him to death.
Anupet then Soulrifted RandomEmoticon. Mikolaj Ruined Malarthi 5 times and Devastated him to death before Euplicitous Aerophram subjected him to the Judgment of Ra. While being Ruined, Malarthi poisoned Mikolaj with Keres Essence. Anupet then Sapped Anima from smooth_pappa, smooth-mamma, Krumku and RandomEmoticon while being Bequeathed Anima from Euplicitous Aerophram and Mikolaj.
Following these attacks, Euplicitous Aerophram made an announcement: "The Riven have no interest in perpetuating this afternoon's hostilities. We ask that those now down be allowed rise under their own power. Beyond that, we are done with this barring further acts of aggression against us." [6]
Later, Jumsy (N: Light) began Exhausting Anima from Euplicitous Aerophram, who responded by Dooming Jumsy to death and Exhausting 532 Anima from him. RandomEmoticon also made an announcement: "As part of the "those now down", I used our "own power" to dry a couple of us off. I am not doing this in order to facilitate further attacks. If further attacks are carried out against the Riven by those I unneg today to futher this event chain, I will accept that further attacks will be used on me." [7] The announcement was accompanied by Bequeathals to smooth_pappa and smooth-mamma. Euplicitous Aerophram Exhausted smooth_pappa and smooth-mamma for the same amount Bequeathed to them. After choosing to follow the Path of Hathor, Malarthi Resurrected smooth_pappa and Euplicitous Aerophram responded by Dooming smooth_pappa and Malarthi to death and then Exhausting 1043 Anima from Malarthi.
During the battle, Euplicitous Aerophram managed to post a reply to smooth_pappa: "Looks like your little ploy worked. That’s a damn shame." [8] To which Malarthi replied: "What's a real damn shame is none of us will give up. You'll have to look around corners for the rest of your life. And trust me, it's not fun." [9]
On the 25th of Phamenoth, Euplicitous Aerophram posted a challenge to smooth_pappa: "If there are things you want to say, do it here. In the open. Tell everyone about how you accused Anupet of sabotaging the Eidolon database that she helped build. Tell them how you know this and more from your "unnamed Riven source" (read: Freya). Tell us how you’ve disregarded all evidence to the contrary. Tell us all again how incredibly honest and innocent you are in all of this. I’d just fucking love to hear it." [10] smooth_pappa replied: "I already mentioned down here that I will not be pulled into a "he said she said" argument with you." [11]
The discussion that followed did little to alleviate tension, ultimately causing Euplicitous Aerophram to write to smooth_pappa : "Prior to all of this I would have said you were a standup fellow. Hands down. You think the Riven really suck. That’s your opinion and you’re welcome to it. The things you said about Em and Anupet, however, were just false and wrong. You have to realize now. There’s been more than enough evidence. Sacrificing friendships over things like this is just patently absurd. Why don’t you just apologize to them? As a gesture of good faith, I’m going to tutor you 300,000 favour." [12]
smooth_pappa made his last public post in response to Euplicitous Aerophram: "This game has ceased to be the fun escape from Real life that it used to be. it has become a place where I can expect to be lied to, drawn into confrontations that I never wanted, and have no idea who to trust or not anymore. EA, I'm sorry for the anima that you squandered today, but I feel that chipdoc maybe had the right idea about this place. I may be back at some point in the future, but we'll see. It's been fun playing with you all. Until it stopped, that is." [13] smooth_pappa then appointed 0zymandias as the new Nomarch of eidolon and has not logged into Ankhet since.

Mikolaj Takes Offense
On the 25th of Phamenoth, Mikolaj (The Riven) Devastated allispaul (Nekhen) to death and Exhausted 770 of his Anima. Mikolaj posted: "You continue to falsely attribute words and ideas to me that I have never stated. I will no longer tolerate this. I have expressed my concern about this many times and feel that I have been more than generous in bringing the situation to your attention. I hope that this will, at least partially, help you remember to be more exact in your future discussions with me. I request that no disciples assist allispaul until tomorrow at this time, the 26th of Phamenoth at 18:18." [1] allispaul defended himself, ended his post with: "I am very disillusioned." [2]
On the 26th of Phamenoth, Mikolaj again Devastated allispaul and Exhausted 700 of his Anima. Mikolaj stated: "allispaul is currently at positive anima and as such I can only conclude that he assisted himself out of negative anima through the use of some artifact. Additionally, his recent post shows no effort to curb his lying tendencies. Therefore, I am extending his sentence in the underworld until midnight tonight." Stick a Needle in Malarthi's Eye
On the 26th of Phamenoth, Malarthi opened the Eye of Menthu. Malarthi has stated in the past: "This is a formal request that no one open the Eye of Menthu. Anyone who does so will no longer recieve any assistance from me for an indeterminate time. Anyone else can do whatever the hell they want to you as well." [1] "I do have something against is anyone opening the Eye of Menthu." [2] "I believe the eye should never be opened, certainly without warning, and that anyone who does so needs SWIFT negative feedback." [3]

Clouds on the Horizon
On the 9th of Phamenoth, Krysondra (Nekhen) Dueled Sunny (Light). Sunny won the first Duel in 8 rounds, prompting em (Nekhen) to Exhume Krysondra and Maa-kheru (Antirhodos) to call Madokh to empower Krysondra. Krysondra then Dueled Sunny once more, this time winning in 8 rounds.
Krysondra gave her reasoning: "As you may have noticed, I just dueled and killed Sunny. I did so because of her repeated refusal to publicly apologize for her acknowledged plagarism. To me, this is unacceptable, and she deserved it. She indicated in telepath she would make a public apology, but she hasn't in 10 days." [1] This reasoning was preceded and followed by similar messages in the "Sunny's Poetry! (1 of 20)" thread in Neophytes and the "Sunny's Death" thread in the Underworld.
Light has not expressed an interest in retaliating against Krysondra for the attacks on Sunny, however Jumsy (N: Light) expressed concern about Krysondra's attacks, stating: "... rather than jumping straight to violence, this could have been avoided by talking it out with me, her nomarch. I could have found a different way." [2] After this statement, the thread branched off into a discussion about the merits and faults of discussing disagreements with the Nomarch of the disciple you disagree with before escalating into attacks.
On the 10th of Phamenoth, Altair (Light) attacked Kazuo and Sunny (Light) while Nefertiti (Light) posted an explanation: "Altair has put both Sunny and Kazuo into negative anima due to our suspicions regarding the characters, Sunny and Kazuo. Certain timings with regards to logging in and out of Ankhet have aroused our suspicions about possible zombieism." [3] Nefertiti then provides the Chronicles from the 20th and 21st of Mecheir with regards to Sunny and Kazuo:
She finishes her post with: "Add in the fact that Sunny's behaviour has a certain Kazuo-like nature to it, and we are suspicious about the nature of the two disciples. We are hopeful that Sunny and Kazuo can offer a logical and rational explanation for the abovementioned coincidences. We shall also contact the Oracles with our suspicions." [3] After much discussion, Kazuo and Sunny were let out of the Underworld.
Between the 12th and 13th of Phamenoth, Kazuo's account was reset and Sunny's account was deleted. After Kazuo chose to follow the path of Hathor, Bottom-Heavy Grapefruit (Nekhen) -- now anointed Curdled Grapefruit -- Exhausted Kazuo while Euplicitous Aerophram (N: The Riven) Doomed Kazuo to death, following up by Exhausting his Anima and Diminishing his Favour. Euplicitous Aerophram and Bottom-Heavy Grapefruit have since attacked Kazuo further, keeping him in the Underworld for the following three days. Kazuo is currently at level 1 and with positive Anima.

Kauket Killed, Twice
On the 11th of Phamenoth, pakaran (eidolon) killed Kauket at 23:44. Following the slaying, Mikolaj Sapped 600 of pakaran's Anima and with the assistance of Euplicitous Aerophram (N: The Riven) Doomed pakaran to death. (pakaran dodged 4 Dooms from Mikolaj and 2 from Euplicitous Aerophram.) Mikolaj then Sapped an additional 450 of pakaran's Anima.
The only mention of pakaran's punishment was made by pakaran himself on the 12th of Phamenoth: "I'm not complaining abut being locked out of the game for a full day. And, indeed, I'm not complaining now." [1] Following this message, Rincewind (eidolon) bequeathed 500 Anima to pakaran. Mikolaj later Doomed Rincewind to death, five minutes before rollover.
On the 13th of Phamenoth, AKHOM (Antirhodos) slew Kauket at 22:13. Euplicitous Aerophram Doomed AKHOM to death, missing 4 times. Jumsy (N: Light), Altair (Light) and Mikolaj followed up by Exhausting and Sapping 250, 300 and 115 of AKHOM's anima, respectively. AKHOM responded to the attacks with an apology: "To those that I have inconvenienced by killing Kauket, I must apologize . It was my very first time in that part of the sphinxes. I knew that it was troubling and had no intention of making that mistake. I’ve done it and the only thing I can say now is that you can rest assured that it will not happen in the future. Again I apologize." [2]

Malarthi Announces
On the 11th of Phamenoth, Malarthi (eidolon) made an announcement: "I hereby request that no one for any reason kill a "Once a day" creature before 23:45 Ankhet time, without specifically asking for and receiving permission from the community before hand. This includes the Deranged Hermit, the Black Kauket, the Blood Merchant, and any other creatures of this land that may impart a benefit beyond their death to players. This list may expand, and currently Serpopard is iffy, as he may be a once a day kill, I'm not sure." [1]
Malarthi's announcement sparked two discussions on community resources. "On Slaying of Community Resources" by Stormcaller (Shadows) in Scions and "RE: Community Resources" by Mikolaj (The Riven) in Servants. Both topics petered out quickly, with the majority of debate taking place in the second thread.
The following day, Emau (N: Experiment X) responded to Malarthi's announcement with an announcement of his own: "Unless you want to pay me, I am afraid other factors determine when I can be here, and those will determine when I meet certain creatures. As such, I do not have time, nor the will, to poll the community everytime I meet these creatures or enter areas where they may reside. While I understand your concern, I feel the issue is not as simple as you are making it. But thanks for asking." [2]
On the 14th of Phamenoth, Malarthi made another announcement: "Please don't kill the Blood Merchant just yet. I need to get some things from him." [3] Mikolaj Soulrifted Malarthi 26 minutes later only to have Menthu intervene and protect Malarthi from being killed. Mikolaj then Doomed Malarthi to death. He originally explained his actions: "I'm tired of you trying to tell me what to do or not do. I'm also tired of you doing it through Announcements. As such, I have limited your ability to tell me what to do, constraining it to here in the Underworld." [4] Later, in reference to the announcement, he stated: "I object to its tone, I object to its placement, I object to its selfishness, I object to its inherent underlying philosophy."
Approximately thee hours later, Jumsy (N: Light) Bequeathed Malarthi 300 Anima. Mikolaj then Soulrifted Jumsy twice, once before rollover and once after. The latter Soulrift was followed by Mikolaj Sapping 200 of Jumsy's Anima. At 13:33 on the 15th of Phamenoth, Mikolaj Bequeathed 400 Anima to Jumsy, presumably releasing him from the Underworld.

Op-Ed: Riven = Invincible
Editor’s Preamble: The following article is a submission. The Ankhet Herald is not responsible for its contents and the facts contained therein have not been verified by the staff. The opinions expressed herein are not representative of the staff. The author of the article has requested anonymity, and so his or her name has been withheld. Some minor edits have been made for content.
For the first time the Riven have invited us, outsiders, inside to better understand some of the inner-workings of their successful machine of power. Their personal policies and ideals have, for the most part, been unknown to the majority of the public, but today marks the official end of their long silence.
Why wait until now? This reporter thinks that it could improve relations with the community. The Riven members are no strangers to conflict or controversy. One can understand why they might be interested in ameliorating their current image. We caught up with a member of the Riven, whose name is being withheld as a condition to proceed with the interview. In addition, we were only allowed five questions.
I. First, I would like to thank you for taking the opportunity to have this brief discussion with us. I hope this is not going to be a problem for you, is it?
No problem.
II. How does it feel to be in a dominion that is the focus of the community’s interest and attention?
I would not claim so much, but it is exciting to be a part of a very active group of individuals. We enjoy participating in public discussions. So it is nice to think that our input is appreciated even if it is not always something that reflects the general consensus.
III. Yes, Euplicitous Aerophram has on more than one occasion expressed, and I am paraphrasing here, that public participation is paramount in the advancement of the community and of the individual. With such a heavy importance set on posting, is being active in the forums something that is required of all Riven members?
No.
IV. The Riven have been notoriously hard on so-called "thralls" and have been very vocal about individuals being held personally accountable for their actions - is there a reasonable purpose for such a drastic approach?
I think the purpose of the Riven is to provide a positive example for the rest of the community to follow. All of us have proven ourselves and our ability to be self-sufficient. I trust that the community will come to realize this truth. Those disciples who engage in thrall-like or personally irresponsible activities find themselves on our NOC List - the list that contains the names of players that we will not bequeath to, resurrect, or cureall, among other things.
V. How intriguing. Various disciples pretend to have become just a tiny bit annoyed with the Riven’s constant reminder that they are the “overlords” of our land. Can you edify on what exactly this self-proclaimed title entails?
It's self explanatory. We are the overlords.
Thank you again, we really appreciate your time and the candor of your responses.
No problem.
We hope that you enjoyed this short article. Expect much more in our next installment.

A New Dawn
On the 29th of Mecheir, Nefertiti (Light) officially returned to Ankhet. Since "quitting" a little over four months ago on the 22nd of Phaophi, Nefertiti regularly logged into Ankhet but did not post or otherwise level. On the 3rd of Phamenoth, Jusmy (N: Light) returned to his former dominion -- after experiencing eidolon, Nekhen and Shadows dominions -- to be made Nomarch by Nefertiti. On the 5th of Phamenoth, skote4 (Light) -- now Anointed Altair -- also returned to his former dominion after experiencing both eidolon and Imperial Conquest dominions. The relatively unknown disciples cloud (Light) and Sunny (Light) are the most recent members, joining on the 6th of Phamenoth and the 9th of Phamenoth respectively.
Fiend or Foe?
On the 3rd of Phamenoth at 11:54, Fiend (The Riven) slew Kauket and immediately logged out. An hour later Iboni (Shadows) Withered 97 of his Vitality, with 18 failed Dooms (11 of which came after she poisoned him with Keres Essence) and a failed Blaze. Jumsy successfully Doomed Fiend at 13:33, killing him and Sundering his Ka.
Over the next two hours after Fiend's death, akhenuraeus (Shadows) Sapped 450 of Fiend's Anima, Snigut Tu Barat (Shadows) Sapped 2 of Fiend's Anima and Apollyon (Macrocosm) -- now anointed Krumko -- Exhausted 100 of Fiend's Anima. At 15:33, Apollyon resurrected Fiend with a Phoenix Fire and challenged him to a Duel, withdrawing after 3 rounds to poison him with Keres Essence. Apollyon then re-initiated the duel, killing Fiend after 13 rounds.
Nine minutes later, Mikolaj (The Riven) Ruined and Doomed Apollyon. Mikolaj then Exhausted 435 of Fiend's Anima. Ozymandias (eidolon) then used Cureall on Apollyon. Mikolaj responded by Devastating both Ozymandias and Apollyon until they died. Later, Baltar (Shadows) used a Cathartic Philter on Apollyon, which was followed by a Phoenix Fire from Malarthi, which was followed by another Devastate from Mikolaj. Two hours and a minute after his last attack, Mikolaj resurrected Apollyon with a Phoenix Fire and Sacrificed to him 87 Vitality. Ozymandias then used Cureall on Mikolaj. Over the next few hours, smooth_pappa (N: eidolon) Tutored Apollyon for a total of 205,200 Favour.
Fiend has not yet apologized publicly for his premature killing of Kauket. His first post after returning to the game did contain the following explanation: "I got locked up while trying to get away from a fight with Kauket. Every time I tried to run, I hit her again." [1] His explanation was met with incredulity. Accusations of hypocrisy were made, citing the previous Judgments by Euplicitous Aerophram (N: The Riven) of yipikaye (N: Macrocosm) and pakhet, both of whom killed Kauket prior to their Judgments. No explanations were publicly demanded of Euplicitous Aerophram during or after the incidents, but in response to the accusations of hypocrisy, he states: "I have never used Judgment as a penalty simply for prematurely killing Kauket."[2]
A discussion regarding the consequences of prematurely killing Kauket began in the Servants forum, initiated by Mikolaj. The discussion contained many interesting and some noteworthy ideas, however no decision was reached about what consequences were best. Further, no new disciple or group of disciples expressed any interest in upholding one set of consequences over the others.

God is Dead . . . and Sundered
On the 5th of Phamenoth, B-Legit (Macrocosm) -- now anointed Krumko -- Anointed to God. Following his name change, RandomEmoticon (Shadows) asked: "Are you omnipotent? If so, do humans have free will? If you're not, then you're a pretty shitty god." [1] Later, Altair (Light) Withered 1 of God's Vitality and RandomEmoticon Doomed God to death, Sundering his Ka. RandomEmoticon had this to say after his actions: "Well, you are a shitty god. How about that."
In an apparently unrelated incident on the 6th of Phamenoth, Euplicitous Aerophram took exception to God in the "B-Legit's Hard Knock Life" thread, stating: I have been injured by exposure to your stupidity. Die."[3] God anointed to Necro later that day.

Of That Colossal Wreck
On the 6th of Phamenoth and with no public warning, Ozymandias (eidolon) succumbed to ennui. In his announcement prior to the event, titled "So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish" -- a reference to the fourth book in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams -- Ozymandias explained: "Its been fun, but, meh, bored now. " [1] He ended his announcement with a rally: "Fight the Riven!" [1]
Many disciples have expressed grief over Ozymandias leaving the game and a few also expect him to return. As the long standing Ankhet of Hathor, a position which he gave up 2 days before succumbing to ennui, he gave Curealls to almost anyone that asked. Following Ozymandias' conversion to the path of Selket, Freya (The Riven) used a Metasis Charm to convert to Hathor and succeed him as Ankhet. She seems to be doing her best to imitate Ozymandias.
The effects of Ozymandias' departure remain to be fully seen, but it is rumored that Metasis Charms are appearing more frequently.

The Invasion
On the 7th of Phamenoth 2756, Dijital (eidolon) lashed out at the members of The Riven with 1 Exhaust for each member. Even though Iboni (Shadows) quickly reversed the attacks, Anupet (The Riven) -- previous member and former Nomarch of eidolon, now the newest member of The Riven -- Sapped 2 of Dijital's Anima, in a display that could only be described as heavy-handed and unjust.
Not to let this atrocity stand, Bottom-Heavy Grapefruit (Nekhen) came to the defense of Dijital by Exhausting 3 of Anupet's Anima. What happened next can only be described as all-out war, with Anupet and Bottom-Heavy Grapefruit exchanging Saps and Exhausts of increasing magnitudes: 5 Anima Sapped from Bottom-Heavy Grapefruit, 10 Anima Ehausted from Anupet, 100 Anima Sapped from Bottom-Heavy Grapefruit, 101 Anima Exhausted from Anupet, then Euplicitous Aerophram (N: The Riven) came to Anupet's aid, Bequeathing her 200 Anima. She took his aid and used it to Sap 500 Anima from Bottom-Heavy Grapefruit. With assistance from BadKalamari (Nekhen) in the form of 200 Anima, Bottom-Heavy Grapefruit put up his final offense by Exhausting 1 Anima each from Euplicitous Aerophram and Anupet.
When the dust settled, both sides were exhausted and drained. With no more will to fight, the field of battle was left empty. Not accepting of a cease-fire and possibly in a state of rage, Tully (N: Nekhen) attacked Anupet, Exhausting 1 Anima, and Dijital for three times as much Anima. Krysondra (Nekhen) tried to restrain her ally with an Exhaust for 2 Anima, but Tully's last act before succumbing to exhaustion was to Diminish 50 of Krysondra's Favour. Late to the battle, allispaul (Nekhen) struck Euplicitous Aerophram from afar with a single Exhaust.
The war has not been re-engaged since, but The Riven must be planning a brutal reprisal for such insolence.
